The desert adventure Starsand is set to deliver its latest update as part of its revamped roadmap. Bringing collectible bugs, new tools, and fresh building pieces to expand your sanctuary, the Beetles Update now gives players the opportunity to not only collect and catch different creepy crawlies while wandering through the dunes but also showcase them in unique terrariums. With the opportunity to now also builds curved walls and clay roofs for the first time, players will have the tools they need to build towers and original formations.
The NEW ROADMAP:
Intending to release multiple updates over the coming months, including support for Valve’s Steamdeck in May alongside a sandboard for surfing down sand dunes, June/July’s update will see a new zone behind the stone gate, a new enemy, a strange artifact and a new piece of the story to uncover.
Set against a harsh arcane desert, Starsand sees players construct weapons and defenses to fight and survive against strange creatures. Transported to a strange planet and paying homage to the likes of Another World and Stargate, players are invited to explore a vast and hostile environment in their quest to return to Earth. With unpredictable weather, an impactful day and night cycle, as well as deep crafting mechanics, Starsand offers players the freedom to explore a huge landscape filled with dangerous creatures and artifacts.
