This movie made for a great Saturday night. If you’re looking for a film enshrouded with guilt and mystery…(or is it misery), then you’ve come to the right place. Our hero, if you want to call her that, is the sole survivor of a female serial killer who’s working hard to adopt a child of her own. It’s almost heartwarming to see a woman who was preyed upon as a child take up teaching. She’s so warm. So ‘motherly’…

Yeah, hold on to your hats. The creepy serial killer has escaped and is coming for her ‘daughter’. As people start dropping like flies, dying in very slasher-satisfying ways, we’re brought to question whether the killer is really the escaped mother…or is it the daughter with a lot of repressed anger towards just about everyone.

The journey is a trip, the mystery is intriguing, and the end is satisfying. That’s why it got five stars from me. No cheese to be found or flaws to make fun of; this was a great thriller that I enjoyed from start to finish!
