This movie was amazing. Once the subtitles started rolling, I barely noticed I was reading them as we were introduced to the Thai culture, where everything supernatural or unexplainable is a god. Which just like Greek times, means there are plenty of good gods, bad gods, and demonic possession? To them, might as well be gods.
The idea is dangerous since often we’re led to believe that the more someone believes in evil, the more power it has, and spoiler, it gets a lot of power. A possession allowed to progress because a shaman’s own sister refused to believe that something was wrong with her daughter.
This movie documents the descent into hell, the events leading up to that point, and the catastrophic events during the exorcism and it does it freaking well. My only sour point was what happened to the dog, but if you watch the movie, you’ll understand why my priorities are majorly messed up.
Great movie. 5/5 Stars!Sponsor this Article!
