Get ready for an encore! Sold Out and Metronomik is thrilled to announce that rhythm-infused action-adventure No Straight Roads is coming to Steam on October 21 in a rockin’ new ‘Encore Edition’. The game can be added to your Steam Wishlist now.
No Straight Roads: Encore Edition includes the rock-tastic base game along with brand new exclusive content, including an expanded collection of tracks remixed by new and returning artists, a new opening cinematic, quality of life improvements, and new fan-based content that celebrates the incredible enthusiasm and support from the NSR community following the game’s initial release last year.
The Encore Edition also includes the festive-focused ‘Christmas Edition’ content update, which remixes the game with holiday-themed music, decorations, outfits, and more.
In celebration of No Straight Roads’ one-year anniversary – and as a way of saying thank you for the incredible support from the community – Metronomik recently invited fans to submit their own original NSR artwork to appear in the Encore Edition when it releases on October 21. Over 500 pieces of fan art will appear in-game throughout Vinyl City and, once found, can be displayed on-screen as part of the Encore Edition’s refreshed UI.
Originally released on consoles and the Epic Games Store last year, No Straight Roads is an action-adventure game that mashes together rhythm-infused combat with a vibrant, offbeat world and killer soundtrack. The game follows the music-based adventures of indie rock band members Mayday & Zuke in their rebellion against EDM empire NSR.
“We were thrilled by the community’s response to No Straight Roads last year and are excited to bring the game to Steam later this month,” said Sarah Hoeksma, Marketing Director at Sold Out. “The game’s unique characters, incredible soundtrack, and rockin’ musical-action hit a note with fans and we’re so excited to celebrate them with this special Encore Edition.”
“We are so incredibly thankful to all of our fans for the support they have given No Straight Roads, all the way back from the very start of our journey to where we are now a year after release,” said Wan Hazmer, CEO and Game Director at Metronomik. “With new content and quality of life improvements, we’ve been working to deliver a Steam release that fans will cherish.”
