Today, The Pokémon Company International announced one of this year’s most unmissable contests: the Pokémon presents Super Pet Contest!

Pokémon Presents Super Pet Contest

Inspired by the Super Contest Shows featured in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl—available 19 November 2021 exclusively on Nintendo Switch systems—The Pokémon Company International brings the Sinnoh region’s in-game contest shows to life with a digital contest that celebrates our beloved pets by putting them in the spotlight. Seasoned Super Contest Show fans and newcomers alike don’t have to wait long, because submissions for the Pokémon Presents Super Pet Contest is open now!

How to Enter

Until 9 November 2021 at 08:01 a.m. GMT, animal lovers and Pokémon fans from the UK, France, Germany, and the US can enter photos of their pets into three categories. Animal companions of all shapes and sizes from participating territories will have a chance to win some amazing Pokémon prizes.

The three categories celebrating CLEVERCUTE, and COOL pets are now accepting submissions on the Pokémon present Super Pet Contest website, so prepare yourselves for one of the most adorable contests of all time!

New photos will be displayed daily, so check in throughout the contest to vote for your favourite photos up to 10 times per day. The more love you share for the contestants’ furry (and non-furry) friends, the more you’ll help Trainer Michelle pick the best in the show! Also, be sure to check out the official Pokémon social channels throughout the contest period as we highlight some of our favourite entries and feature exclusive content from our exciting celebrity judge.

Superstar Judge

No superstar contest is complete without a fabulous celebrity judge! Today, The Pokémon Company International officially revealed that Michelle Visage will be guest judging this unmissable celebration of cleverness, cuteness, and coolness.

Michelle Visage is a global TV sensation, a pop legend, and an all-around superstar. Bringing her glitz, glam, and internationally renowned judging acumen to a whole new level, Trainer Michelle knows what it takes to be wowed by clever showmanship, cute looks, and a cool attitude.

Trainer Michelle adds, “Our house is full of Pokémon fans and animal lovers—including our two dogs, Romeo and Daisy—so this event is such a fun way to celebrate the joy that animal companions bring to families all over the world. I can’t wait to see all of the amazing animals that people are lucky enough to call their friends, so it’s going to be really hard to choose the winners!”

There are four incredible prizes up for grabs within each category. The winners will be announced on 16 November 2021 during an exciting Winners’ Ceremony hosted on the official Pokémon YouTube channel. Prizes include Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Pokémon Shining Pearl Dual Packs, Nintendo Switch Lite Dialga & Palkia Editions, and more! By entering photos to the contest, you will be granted a license for the images of your pet to be shown on the site and shared on social media. The contest closing date is 9 November 2021 at 08:01 a.m. GMT. Photo entries are subject to vetting in compliance with the Photo Guidelines, as found here.
